How Important are Sitemaps?

Sitemaps are extremely important. But don’t let that scare you. They are also very easy to make. A WordPress blog will make one automatically for you if you download a plugin (Simple Google Sitemap XML). Or you can make one on Google’s Webmaster Tools page. But you do in fact need a sitemap if you have a lot of pages and you want them to be indexed by Google and other search engines.
